FUZED YOUTH YARD SALE / CAR WASH / CUPCAKE SALE
SATURDAY, MAY 12TH FROM 6:00AM TO 2:00PM

The Fuzed Youth yard sale has been rescheduled for Saturday, May 12, 6:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.  A car wash and cupcake sale will take place during this time as well.  Cupcakes will also be sold the following Sunday (cupcakes by Christine Edwards).  Proceeds from the yard sale will go toward the 2013 mission trip to Ukraine, and a 10% tithe from the proceeds will go toward a Taylorsville mission project planned for this summer.

Yard sale donations will be accepted through May 11th.

 

MONTHLY PRAYER WATCH
FRIDAY/SATURDAY, MAY 25/26

Our monthly prayer watches provide an opportunity for small groups to zero in on the prophetic promises God has made regarding a move of the Holy Spirit within New Life and our region.  See Elizabeth Abbott, or call the church office, to sign up for any of the following watches beginning Friday evening at 6:00:

  • 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
  • 9:00 p.m. – Midnight
  • Midnight – 3:00 a.m.
  • 3:00 a.m. – 6:00 a.m.

MEN’S BREAKFAST SATURDAY
JUNE 2, 8:30 – 10:30 A.M.

Men 13 years old and up are invited to a fellowship breakfast in the New Life lounge on Saturday, June 2, 8:30 – 10:30 a.m.  We’ll enjoy a time of fellowship, have a short Bible discussion related to men’s issues, and pray for one another in small groups.  Let us know you’re coming by turning in a signup sheet today, calling the church office at 828-632-9589, or emailing steven.lee.watson@gmail.com.

FAMILY LIFE’S THE ART OF MARRIAGE HOSTED AT NEW LIFE
JUNE 8TH, 6:30 PM TO 9 PM AND JUNE 9TH, 9 AM TO 4 PM

The Art of Marriage from Family Life is being hosted by New Life and presented by Tony and Emily Parker. This 6-session DVD event will show you God’s design for marriage in a fresh engaging way.  You will receive encouragement and practical advice for your marriage, so you can “Love Like You Mean It!”

EQUIPPED TO RELEASE THE KINGDOM – KINGDOM HEALING 101

{two opportunities to participate each week}
SUNDAY EVENINGS 6:00 – 8:00
WEDNESDAY EVENINGS 6:30 – 7:30 (followed at 7:30 by House of Prayer meeting)

A six-week study called Kingdom Healing 101 begins Sunday, March 25, and Wednesday, March 28.  This study will lay a foundation for kingdom healing and provide training in healing basics.

PLEASE NOTE: The same DVD teaching will be shown on Sunday evening and Wednesday evening to allow for maximum participation.  The Sunday evening group will include small group prayer and discussion following the DVD.  On Wednesday evenings, the DVD will be followed by small group prayer.  Childcare is available on Wednesday evenings, but is not available on Sunday evenings.
